Over 20 years of Zak Glass Technology Expo

The first Zak Glass Technology Expo was held in 2003 in Mumbai. The show was a creation due to the explosion glass façade building boom in India during the early 2000’s. Architects, & Developers wanted to see the various innovations in glass which led to many European, American & Asian manufacturers enter India with new technologies. Eventually the glass processing market blossomed in India with many entrepreneurs investing in glass processing factories.

At that time, the glass industry was unorganised and at a nascent stage. Majority of the projects would import processed glass from across the globe. There were not many float lines in India too. But over the years that changed and the show was able to grow with the growth of the glass industry and was able to give access to new products, technologies & accessories.

The expo has evolved over the years and now attracts 15,000+ attendees annually, providing a platform to glass processors, manufactures, fabricators, dealers, distributors and related professionals a platform to view the latest technologies available in India from the world of glass. Close to 150 brands from India & abroad regularly exhibit at the show which is alternated between New Delhi & Mumbai every year.

Numerous glass processors have emerged as a direct result from this exhibition and we are extremely proud of the contribution we have made to the glass industry in India.

About the Organiser

Founded in 1994, Zak Exhibitions & Conferences (popularly known as “Zak”) is at the helm of organising the Zak Door & Windows Expo.
